Introduction to Screen Acting
A new one week course.
Although this course is ideal for those aged 17-21 yrs, the course is also suitable to older applicants with an exclusively theatre background who wish
to extend their skills, as well as those with little or no experience.
The course will focus on the interface between improvisation and text.
Students devise, through improvisation, short scenes with interior and exterior location filming included.
When text comes into play, speed line learning and motivation will be considered in more detail.
The differences between Screen acting and stage performance will also be considered.
Playback and constructive feedback forms an integral part of the course.
