Philip is head of screen acting at ISSA. He works closely with the full-time students throughout their training, developing core screen acting skills leading in to their graduation showreel scenes.
He trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama and studied the Meisner Technique for two years under Tom Radcliffe.
He has acted in various theatre, TV and film productions, his credits including work for the BBC, Channel Four and the Big Finish series of Dr Who audio adventures.
He appeared in the Sunday Times award winning play “Easy Laughter” and was the lead in “Ulysses Road” which went on to win best feature at the ReelHeart International Film Awards in Toronto.
As well as teaching at ISSA and Mountview, Philip continues to act and spends much of his time developing and producing short film and feature film projects.
