Reyes Hiraldo is a Spanish actor trainer settled in UK with more than 10 years in the field. Reyes comes from an eclectic background having trained as a contemporary dancer at the Andalusian Centre of Dance.
She trained as an actress at “Estudio Internacional del Actor Juan Carlos Corazza”. Reyes has worked professionally in cinema, TV and stage, participating in novel and awarded cinematographic projects as “Ramirez” (Sitges, Málaga, Sundance) and “Yo También (festival de San Sebastian, Málaga). Reyes is well known for her character “Pilar” in the legendary and ongoing Spanish soap opera “Arrayán”.
Theatrical productions include work with directors Robert Wilson in Teatro Real de Madrid and the director and Goya awarded actor Carlos Álvarez. Reyes also set up The Ali-bi Company with Bibiana Arena, a Brasilian Berlin based artist, which produce, direct and perform different plays around Madrid, Sevilla and Benicassim.
Reyes graduated from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with an MA in Actor Training & Coaching. She is now devoted to her coaching career, working as a visiting lecturer at The Royal Central school of Speech and Drama as a part of the MA Acting for Screen and is also part of the teaching faculty at the International School of Screen Acting. Her main area of interest is to combine a psychophysical approach to acting and its allied spheres; where the body and the mind of the actor are experienced as a “whole”, with a humanist and holistic approach.
