Update and Guidance on Coronavirus

Updated: Tuesday 16th June 2020

During these unprecedented circumstances, our first priority continues to be the health, safety and welfare of all our students and staff. We are following and adapting to the latest advice from the UK governmentPublic Health England and the NHS along with film & TV industry safe working guidelines.

We continue to review our schedule of activity in light of government directives. As the situation evolves and we take decisions around training, courses, auditions and events, we will be contacting all affected staff, students and applicants as well updating here on our website.

We are monitoring the situation closely and working on contingency plans across all areas of activity.

In light of this global pandemic the school has moved its teaching online where the current students are being taught all their core skills as well as project work.

Any candidates auditioning for 2020/21; we are holding auditions onsite where there will be strict social distancing guidelines in place. For any candidates who are overseas and who can’t travel we will move this process online. Please contact admissions@screenacting.co.uk for more information.

As well as the school creating its own thorough set of guidelines in preparation for its reopening, we are based in 3 Mill Studios which has a detailed Re-occupancy Guidelines Document. These are a working set of documents which provide detailed on-site protocols in line with government policies and industry guidance around Covid-19.
